Povodom Međunarodnog dana žena, Muzej savremene umetnosti vas poziva na tematsko vođenje kroz izložbu Prekretnice ka modernosti: Umetnost društva 1900–1945 pod nazivom Uloga i lik žene u razvoju srpske moderne. Kroz dela umetnica poput Nadežde Petrović, Zore Petrović, Natalije Cvetković i Bete Vukanović, razmatraćemo na koji način su umetnice oblikovale tok srpske moderne, ali i kako je lik žene predstavljen u umetnosti prve polovine 20. veka. Vođenje otvara pitanja društvenog položaja umetnica, njihovih profesionalnih borbi i doprinosa modernističkim strujanjima, osvetljavajući istovremeno širi kulturni i istorijski kontekst epohe. Ulaz je slobodan uz kupljenu muzejsku kartu. Marking the International Women’s Day, the Museum of Contemporary Art invites you to a thematic guided tour through the exhibition “Turning Points to Modernity: Art of Society 1900–1945”, titled The Role and Representation of Women in the Shaping of Serbian Modernism. Through works by artists such as Nadežda Petrović, Zora Petrović, Natalija Cvetković and Beta Vukanović, we will explore how women artists shaped the course of Serbian modernism, as well as how the female figure was represented in the art of the first half of the 20th century. The tour will address the social position of women artists, their professional struggles and their contribution to modernist movements, while also shedding light on the broader cultural and historical context of the period. *The guided tour will be held in Serbian.
